Whole Wheat Waffles

This is a super easy and yummy recipe for healthier waffles.

What you need:

 

2 cups of milk

2 eggs
1/4 cup avocado oil
1/2 tsp of cinnamon
1/4 tsp of baking soda
2 tsp of baking powder
1 1/2 cups of whole wheat flour
Maple syrup and fruit for serving
 

Whisk all the ingredients (except for maple syrup and fruit) together in a mixing bowl. In the meantime heat up your waffle iron.  Once it’s hot pour the batter onto the waffle iron. (Follow waffle maker’s instructions on proper use).

When finished pour maple syrup and add fruit of your liking ( I personally love frozen berries to go with the hot waffles) and serve.
